The Broncos are looking to remain undefeated after a convincing win over the New York Giants at the Meadowlands. Peyton Manning threw two touchdowns and did not turn the ball over in the win. Manning has yet to commit a single turnover so far this season.
This Monday night matchup will be a story of two different offenses.
The Raiders rely heavily upon the read-option offense in the pistol formation. Pryor will be making just his fourth career start, and in an effort to maximize Pryor's strengths as a runner while masking his inexperience as a quarterback, Raiders head coach Dennis Allen has implemented the read-option to positive results through the first two weeks.
The Broncos have perhaps the best passing offense in the league. With four-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning leading the show, he'll put into action his is top-tier supporting cast of Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker, Eric Decker and Julius Thomas.
Entering Week 3, the Raiders ranked second in the NFL in sacks with nine through two games. With Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady out for the season, it should be interesting to see if Oakland can force enough pressure on Manning to make this a game.
